Jaydon "Integral" Armstrong storms to June's award!

Congratulations goes to Jaydon Armstrong who has won Woodspeen's Apprentice of the Month for June. Jaydon who works in the finance department at Buy It Direct has excelled within his time at the company despite only being there for 3 months. His attendance both at work and at college is always exceptional and his level of coursework is top quality as well. He's another quality asset to Buy It Direct and he has become an integral part of their finance team.

His supervisor Claire had this to say:
"Jaydon is quick to learn, always willing and has a great attitude. Unfortunately this is all too rare in many apprentices. He is fully committed to achieving his aims and a pleasure to have as part of my team."

Well done Jaydon, keep up the hard work!

Muryim Bi shines to win award!

Congratulation to Muryim Bi of Wellsprings Residential Home in Bradford as she has won Apprentice of the Month for May with Woodspeen Training. Muryim has already completed her Level 2 Health and Social Care NVQ with us and has now embarked onto her Level 3. Muryim's supervisor has this to say

"We are delighted that Muryim has been nominated for this award. Muryim’s continued professional development has been her focus, alongside her hectic family commitments for the last few years and I have confidence that she will achieve her goals.

Muryim’s confidence has grown and she is now capable of taking the lead in the work environment during a busy shift."

Well done Muryim and all the best during your Level 3 qualification!

Godfrey changing lives back home!

Godfrey Makwembere completed his Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ's in Health and Social Care through Woodspeen Training and we are all so happy that all Godfrey's efforts are paying off.
As well as completing his NVQ's, Godfrey has done something special in his spare time. Godfrey has founded a charity in Zimbabwe that helps raise money for the community in a variety of ways. A statement from Godfrey is below:

"I am the honorary Director of Community Project Zimbabwe registered in Zimbabwe (18/2014) and here in UK, we fund-raise under registered charity called Zimbabwe Community Project UK (1175127). To be honest, without continously studying for example levels 2 and 3 diplomas through Woodspeen Training doing different subjects one of which is Communication, I would not be managing to communicate effectively, network with various organisations and do the challenging work of negotiating that is involved. So I really urge those ready to study to enroll today with Woodspeen and begin to enjoy the fruits of studying through Woodspeen there and then.

Success stories of Community Project Zimbabwe include funding of community beekeeping and reforestation projects in Mudzi District, Zimbabwe through funds sourced from a local charity, Christian African Relief Trust which is based in Huddersfield. Also bicycles have been given to village community workers so they can reach needy communities away from existing health centres. 15 wheelchairs were donated to a school in Harare which serves children with physical health problems. Get hold of Godfrey Makwembere on 07882009874 for more on charity work his organisation does."

From everyone at Team Woodspeen, we are so proud of what you do Godfrey and wish you all the best of luck in your future career!
